Identify succession plan and recruitment needs for Design team. Identify and allocate team goals and objectives. Create a world class creative team consistently review and evaluate team, conducting twice yearly appraisals, identify needs for training and development, coaching and mentoring Assess needs and conflicts within the department Ensure teams function effectively to achieve NET-A-PORTER’s business goals.Work with the Production Department to allocate resource within the creative team to greatest effect. Manage the team through multiple projects planning and be responsible for timely delivery of all creative projects.Provide management, leadership, inspiration, guidance, support and direction for the team, critically evaluate the creative process and work to improve with the creative team. Review work for highest standards of quality, consistency, accuracy for a successful project completion.Collaborate with fashion, content, marketing, social, paid media, UX, shoot production, email and site trading teams to lead concepts process and projects and meet objectives and targets.Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media, gaming and technology where relevant to NET-A-PORTER, with a particular attention to the digital and social space.Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, film makers, illustrators, designers and external agencies for NET-A-PORTER, nurture and encourage collaborations with new and exciting artists who share our brand values.Work strategically to drive brand awareness and deliver strong sales through market leading and innovative creative for paid social executions, through stills, video and motion content.Develop the NET-A-PORTER visual brand identity ensuring this is central and consistent in all creative projects, from core institutional branding to onsite, email and its more creative expression on social channels.Focus on digital (on site / app) and social activations, for both organic and paid social, maximising each shoot output to work across channels and applying channel best practices to ensure the output is tailored to each channel needs.Oversee concepting and art direction for fashion, talent, beauty, still life and video shoots, branding and all content output, ensuring our visuals are on-brand, diverse, contemporary and desirable within agreed budgets. This role will focus on Art Direction and Design Direction for digital and social campaign activations as well as being part of the wider Art Direction and creative strategy team. Reporting into the Creative Director, this role will be responsible for development and implementation of concepts, ideas and designs for the NET-A-PORTER brand content creative output for both onsite and offsite usage.
